Of course we would be flying on a day where the local weather station has this to say:
"It could be another day like yesterday. Showers and heavier downpours are scattered about this morning, then storms will redevelop this afternoon and evening. Torrential downpours, dangerous lightning, very gusty winds, and hail are all possible. Highs near 80."
"another day like yesterday" included a water spout and funnel clouds. Fantastic!
We'll just have to see how things go. Flight is at 4:30, then our connecting flight is at 6:30 in Newark.
We are just about to walk out the door - tomorrow includes landing in Glasgow after 10 hours of travel only to find the train to Edinburgh - of course we'll be arriving several hours before check in so we'll be sleeping in the lobby if anyone is looking for us! :) Hopefully there will be a wifi hotspot somewhere so we can let everyone know we are there safely! Keep up the comments, I love it!

Hey McVeys! I am so excited for you! This trip has been a long time coming and I know it will be fantastic! Thank goodness for your mom Becky. Now I can keep track of your flight status from her before you both have a chance to post again. I'm glad you at least made it out of Boston today. The building I work in got struck by lightning and we had to evacuate, so I was a little worried for you to say the least! Have a safe rest of your trip! :o)
